We use no synthetic pesticides or herbicides and only natural fertilizers. We use organic methods, organic fertilizer and organic insect control methods.
We currently are winding down for the season. I just planted about 1/3 acre in winter wheat as a cover crop. We will continue to let the cold hardy crops grow so that they are available fresh for our customers.
Last year we joined Stewards of the Land, LLC. and are selling much of our produce to Frontera's Restaurant and Mado's Restaurant in Chicago, Naha Restaurant in Champaign, but we will always take care of our local customers. We were at Dwight Farmer's Market just about every Saturday, but that has come to an end for the year.
Remember, the only way to be sure of what you are eating is to know your grower by his first name. If you would like to purchase fresh, local produce grown naturally, please contact us.
